Expertise in Positive Behavior Support (PBS): Enhancing Well-being

01.
Bespoke Packages

The customized support and housing solutions are designed for individuals with intricate needs. Our services encompass sourcing suitable placements, modifying environments for suitability, and providing targeted staff training aligned with each client’s unique requirements.

02.
Enhanced Supported Living

These placements offer both single and double occupancy options, ensuring a higher staff-to-client ratio that caters to and accommodates their individual needs effectively.

Person-centered principles and behavioral science

PBS is an amalgamation of person-centred principles and behavioural science, rooted in evidence-driven practices. Challenging behaviours often arise from underlying reasons and might serve as an individual's sole means of expressing unmet needs. Through PBS, we gain insight into the underlying motives behind such behaviours, enabling us to address these needs more effectively. This, in turn, enhances their overall quality of life and diminishes the likelihood of future occurrences of challenging behaviours.

Moiz Care embraces the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model to comprehensively evaluate a client's behaviours and formulate strategies for more effective support.

This framework, centered around the individual, is designed to provide sustained assistance to those with learning disabilities, autism, and potential mental health conditions. This approach is particularly tailored to those who exhibit or are at risk of developing challenging behaviors.

Mitigating Risk through RRN Accredited Training

We firmly uphold the principle that individuals displaying behaviors of concern deserve to exercise their human rights and freedom on par with any other citizen.

As such, managing these behaviours should prioritise safety and dignity. Achieving restraint reduction hinges on robust and visible leadership. Our goal is to empower staff in leadership roles to champion positive and proactive methodologies that safeguard and uphold the human and civil rights of all service users.

ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) Pathway

We specialise in comprehensive care, support, and rehabilitation services for those with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and various neurodegenerative conditions—such as Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, early-onset dementia, and Pick’s disease.

Our approach entails long-term care and rehabilitation, provided within a nurturing and comfortable environment. Collaborating closely with individuals, their families, and support networks, we craft personalised care programmes. Our focus encompasses behaviour, cognition, and mobility, utilising assessments that address key aspects like daily life skills, cognitive abilities, and community engagement.
